Link365 was delighted to work with CField Construction on several projects, with Quayside Lodge being one of them. We were proud to have completed this prestigious development in Fulham, South West London.
Quayside Lodge was a striking 10-storey mixed-use building with a single-storey basement. On completion, it delivered 110 residential units, office space at ground floor level, secure underground bicycle parking, and 51 car parking spaces.
Positioned on the water’s edge, the residential units benefited from breathtaking views of the Thames and London’s skyline.
This was a standout project, and we were proud to have brought our high-quality workmanship to such a notable London development alongside CField Construction.
The Quayside Lodge project required careful management of logistics, with all deliveries carried out on a strict ‘just in time’ basis. This approach was particularly important due to the plant room being located on the roof, which required close liaison with the Main Contractor and careful programming of plant lifts as soon as the roof area was completed.
To support progress, three designated storage areas were provided across the site. Individual heat pumps were installed directly into each apartment upon arrival to minimise the risk of damage. All commissioning activities were undertaken by specialist manufacturers, including individual heat pumps, communal heat pumps, and plant equipment. Overall, the project encountered minimal issues and progressed smoothly.
Quayside Lodge was a fast-paced fit-out scheme involving a high volume of operatives. The project was delivered on time and within the agreed programme. Despite its complexity and the involvement of numerous specialist sub-contractors, the project ran efficiently through to handover.
This project once again demonstrates that Quayside Lodge fell well within Link365’s scope and capabilities. The team worked with precision and adaptability, ensuring successful delivery to client and contractor expectations.
