Link365 was selected as the mechanical engineer partner for the Papermill House development by Galliard Homes.
In this project, the former Romford headquarters of Neopost was transformed into 116 flats over 6 floors, with the sixth-floor apartments featuring a private balcony or terrace. The project also included a communal roof terrace on the top floor.
Having worked with Galliard Homes on previous projects Link365 seamlessly integrated on-site as the mechanical contractor, meeting the requirements of the development team.
The mechanical services included the installation of public health services, rainwater and dry riser alterations, and new, full ventilation and ducting system installation (MVHR). Within this project remit, Link365 also installed the building plant room and boosted cold water services.
To each apartment, the team installed the sanitaryware and carried out the building testing and commissioning, including chlorination and sterilisation.

As a previous project, Link365 seamlessly integrated on-site to install a variety of mechanical services and applied its knowledge, skills, and expertise to overcome any challenges encountered. Link365 was in charge of supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning every mechanical service in addition to managing and coordinating the installation of the required services.
This project required the coordination and installation of mechanical services and was completed just before the global pandemic negatively impacted the construction sector.
Link365’s previous knowledge and experience when designing and installing single or multiple units, enabled the simplification of the engineered elements, to achieve the desired price and for the project to be delivered within a timely manner and within budget.
With considerable experience of delivering office to apartment PD schemes, Link365 have become very good and very cost efficient with partner delivery. The project was led by a strong, cooperative management team, generating a solid, synergised and successful approach from all sub-contractors.
